Q. I don’t sell “Luxury” properties. Can I still be a List Sotheby’s International Realty agent?

A. The answer is YES! The word “Luxury” is an experience  not a price point. While we do represent luxury listings, we represent all price points and every client regardless of price point receives the same exceptional level of service.

 

Q. What is the environment like?   

 A. We operate in a team/family oriented environment. Celebrating the successes of others and support each other at every turn. Listening, learning and growing always. 

 

Q. Who owns the company?

A. His name is Hisashi Kitami and he is from Japan.  He is one  of the largest affiliates in the entire Sotheby’s International Realty brand with offices in Japan, Hawaii, the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand, with future plans to open offices in both Indonesia and Vietnam.

 

Q. Does the owner & the corporate office understand Business and culture in Hawaii?

 A. Yes. Our entire management team is from Hawaii. We all know the industry well and the nuances of operating in Hawaii. 

 

Q. What does LIST stand for? 

A. Our owner took “LIST” from the word “Specialist”. He wanted to convey that we are all specialists.  Hence, List Sotheby’s International Realty.

 

Q. How do you market listings globally? 

A. Once we enter a listing into our SIR system, it is automatically syndicated globally on all of our affiliate websites.  From Hawaii to Russia, your listing will receive instant global exposure.  In addition to our global affiliate websites, we have partnerships domestically and internationally that ensure your listing will receive maximum global exposure at no cost to you or your seller.

 

Q.  What type of support do you offer?

A. Our brokerage offers full-service support for all of our agents.  From our receptionist to our Chief Operating Officer, our goal is to provide each agent extraordinary support to maintain and elevate their business. These services include in-house, face to face front office support, listing coordination, marketing, company courier and transaction management.  

 

Q. How does the commission structure work at List Sotheby's International Realty?

A. List Sotheby's International Realty offers a very competitive commission schedule that will commensurate with experience and past production. Our commission schedules do not annually “roll back” and are not on a “rolling” schedule. Once a commission split is agreed upon it will stay remain the same for the duration of that year. Commissions splits can also increase throughout the year based on earnings milestones.
